JACKSONVILLE, FL – Meridian Integration, LLC, a leading international provider of software and services for the utility industry, is excited to announce a partnership with Florida State College at Jacksonville’s (FSCJ) I-Tech program. This program targets entry-, middle- and high-skilled occupations in the high demand Computer Information Technology industry of Jacksonville and the surrounding Northeast Florida region. Meridian will be providing internship opportunities for program participants, such as intern Jared Boice, who shared these thoughts: “The I-Tech program has proven to be an invaluable opportunity by preparing me for a career in java development and pairing me as an intern with Meridian Integration. The 11-week module has already started paying off for me, literally, as I am now working 40-hour weeks while also increasing my experience in the IT field.” FSCJ’s I-Tech program is made possible, in part, by the H-1B Ready to Work Partnership grants program from the U.S. Department of Labor.
